It is no longer ancient times where patriarchy rules women, making them submissive and making them believe “A woman’s job is in the kitchen” according to cultural norms. In this book, women in South Africa stand up for all vulnerable women. They are courageous, fearless, and also eliciting the power of feminism so that each and every woman can know that she is a KING. “Women’s Month is celebrated in August in South Africa as a commemoration to almost 20,000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on August 9, 1956, to protest the imposition of pass laws on women.” Similarly, in this book, women speak with utterance and are standing together against Rape, Gender-Based Violence, Single Parenting, and being victims of Human Trafficking, which is the current affairs affecting women in South Africa. Women are referred to as HEroines, as we believe all women derived from a man’s rib according to the Bible, but in this book, women rebuke the hypothesis, as the book is referred to as SHEroine, which symbolises equality of gender and to halt men into believing they are dominant and masculine, which psychologically empowers men to believe they are in control of “WE”menĀ
